ScoutAlarm无线家居安防系统是一套安全识别多样、便携式安装、费用低廉的无线家庭安全系统，该系统无需安装任何线路，可通过家庭无线路由器与用户的智能手机、平板电脑、PC等设备连接提供安全警报服务。系统由基站、开关门窗传感器和动作传感器构成。
其中基站是系统的中心，用户可以通过智能手机和计算机配置安全系统。基站直接连接家用无线路由器，通过Wi-Fi工作。同时配置了3G通信芯片，每月10美元的激活费在Wi-Fi无法工作时可以享受监视服务，基站还配置了备用电池以备停电。开关门窗感应器在门窗破裂时感应。用户需要在需要保护的门窗上安装相应的开关门窗传感器。
有时小偷不一定打开门窗也能进入家中，这样开关门窗传感器就不起作用了。此时，动作传感器有用。动作传感器可以感知暴力的敲击动作，但一般宠物在40磅以下的敲击不会引起误报。动作传感器可以放在墙角和衣柜上。
